At Quarterdecks Retreat, we welcome our guests’ furry companions and offer a dog-friendly environment. This policy outlines the conditions under which your dog is permitted to stay at our retreat. By choosing to stay at Quarterdecks Retreat, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
Eligibility and Dog Size Limit: We welcome well-behaved dogs, with a maximum of two dogs per villa, and a weight limit of 15 kg per dog.
Booking Requirements: As not all of our villas are pet-friendly, we kindly ask that you contact us prior to booking—or let us know during the booking process if you plan to bring your dog—to confirm availability.
Pet Fee: A pet fee is charged to cover the costs of cleaning, sanitising and maintaining the accommodation to ensure it remains in good condition for future guests. This fee does not cover specialized cleaning required due to the pet owner’s carelessness or negligence.
- For stays of 1-2 nights: $50 total pet fee.
- For stays of 3-7 nights: $100 total pet fee.
- For stays of 7 nights or more: $100 plus an additional $14 per extra night.
Additional Dog Fee: If bringing a second dog, an additional fee of $10 per night will apply.
Bond: A damage/security deposit of $300 is required and will be refunded after the villa is inspected at check-out, provided there is no damage or specialized cleaning required.
Rules and Etiquette: Dogs must be well-behaved at all times, and owners are responsible for their behaviour.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash when leaving the villa.
- Do not leave dogs unattended in the villa or courtyard. If you plan to go on a tour, please ensure your dog can be accommodated at a boarding kennel for the day.
- Dogs are not allowed on beds or furniture.
- Guests are responsible for any damages caused by their dogs.
Dog-Free Zones: The recreation area within the accommodation is designated as a dog-free zone. Please respect this area.
Waste Disposal: Guests are required to clean up after their dogs promptly. Dogs are not permitted to defecate or urinate inside the villas.
Liability: Guests are responsible for any injuries or damages caused by their dogs. They are also liable for any specialized cleaning required due to negligence or carelessness on their part.
Discretion: Management reserves the right to request the removal of dogs if their behaviour is disruptive or poses a threat to other guests.
