    Lake McKenzie (Boorangoora) on K'gari (Fraser Island) is a famous, stunning freshwater lake known for its brilliant blue, crystal-clear water and pure, white silica sand, formed entirely from rainwater and filtered by the sand, making it a popular, pristine swimming spot with picnic areas and camping facilities in the Great Sandy National Park.
